Produce foundational outputs (audience insights, positioning, launch strategies, brand plans) and tailor frameworks to each engagement.Collaborative Leadership: Guide collaboration with clients, creative leads, and partners through workshops and ideation to develop inventive, strategic solutions.Insight & Innovation: champion inventive research methodologies to uncover fresh customer insights. Leverage AI tools to validate brand hypotheses and scale hyper-personalized strategies.Inspire Creative Excellence: Write master briefs and partner with creative leaders to translate strategic vision into award-winning work.Leadership & Commercial Growth: Drive business growth by tying insights to client objectives, leading new business strategy and expanding services with existing clients.Client Advisory: Advise C-Suite clients, guiding bold solutions and investment in progressive brand building.Technology Integration: Embed AI-driven tools into the Brand Strategy workflow and contribute to the firm's AI roadmap.Culture & Talent: Foster trust with MERGE stakeholders and oversee the development and deployment of strategy staff.Industry Authority & Thought Leadership: Publish forward-thinking thought leadership and analyze trends to position clients and the agency ahead of the curve.QualificationsExperience: 12+ years in brand strategy or related roles, with at least 4+ years serving Provider/Health Systems clients. Track record of delivering ambitious outcomes for startups to Fortune 100 companies.Provider & Health System Focus: Expertise applying strategic principles across complex health systems, with understanding of industry nuances and regulatory contexts.Integrated Marketing Leadership — Ability to architect holistic strategies across multiple stakeholders (consumers, physicians, donors, business community, internal teams) and design seamless, multi-channel brand journeys using digital insights.Strategic Fluency & Innovation: Proficiency in audience definition, segmentation, and Creative Briefs; innovating beyond traditional approaches to drive growth and measurable impact.Commercial Acumen: Experience consulting with C-Suite clients on business impact, with clear KPI definition and investment rationale.Storytelling Mastery: Strong ability to marry data with narratives to inspire and drive creative excellence.Executive Presence: Consult with senior clients and lead cross-functional teams.Collaborative Leadership: Build cross-functional partnerships to develop culturally relevant ideas.Adaptability & AI Proficiency: Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort using AI tools to enhance strategy, not replace it.Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $164,000 - $197,000. MERGE discloses salary ranges and is committed to equitable compensation practices.
