Cleared Vulnerability ResearcherBestgate Engineering is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, and exploit development. The ideal candidate will support both OCO (Offensive Cyber Operations) and DCO (Defensive Cyber Operations), contributing across the full software lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesPerform in-depth vulnerability assessments using reverse engineering and kernel debuggingDevelop and test C/C++ software for low-level and embedded environmentsAnalyze protocol stacks and work with x86/x64 assemblyDesign, implement, and document high-quality software solutionsSupport full-cycle engineering from requirements gathering to deploymentCollaborate with internal teams and customers to refine specificationsCreate and execute test plans, and participate in process improvement initiativesInvestigate and exploit system-level weaknessesRequired Qualifications3+ years of experience in Software Engineering/Vulnerability ResearchProficiency in C/C++ developmentExperience with x86/x64 assembly, reverse engineering, kernel debugging, and exploit developmentA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a related technical field is preferred. Equivalent practical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph *Salary Range: $145,000 - $170,000The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary. The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position.
