Part Time Retail Associate

Job Overview is a woman-founded and operated artisan bread bakery specializing in sourdough loaves, French baguettes, challah, and noshes. We are seeking an outgoing, reliable Retail Associate to serve our fantastic customers at our San Leandro storefront! Applicants must have professional experience in a front-facing position, preferably in food service and/or retail. Must have demonstrated interest in customer service. The role requires friendly, fast-paced interactions with our wonderful customers and great knowledge of our delicious breads and noshes. You will be both a cashier and the face of our brand, responsible for answering customers’ questions, fulfilling orders, and keeping our retail displays tidy and appealing. The position is part time, 8 hours per week, and is based in San Leandro at our storefront. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, 8 am -12:30 pm. Starting pay is $17-20 hourly, plus tips earned through our pooled tip system, which generally range from $3-4/ hour additional.
