Alloy Personal Training in Palos Verdes is hiring a Full-Time Head Coach to lead our coaching team, drive client retention, and deliver an exceptional Alloy training experience. This is a high-impact role for a fitness professional who loves coaching but is ready to take ownership of a studio's training quality and member experience.You'll be the right hand to ownership, the lead voice on the training floor, and the person our 100+ members rely on for results.CompensationBase salary: $50,000 - $59,000Performance bonuses tied to membership growth and retention (realistic OTE $65-75K as we grow membership above 110)Partially employer-subsidized health, dental, and vision insurance (rare in the boutique fitness industry)Paid time offFree studio access + discounted supplementsReal path to expanded responsibility and comp as the studio scales and we build more studiosSchedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week. ~25-30 hours coaching on the floor, balance dedicated to retention, member experience, and team leadership. Some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends required.What you'll do:Coaching (the core of the role):Lead 25-30 small group personal training sessions per week using the Alloy methodCoach groups of up to 6 with energy, precision, and genuine careRun Starting Point sessions for new members and follow Alloy's onboarding systemMaintain detailed client records and progress notes in the Alloy appMember experience & retention:Personally connect with members who haven't checked in 8+ times in the last 30 daysRun accountability sessions and follow-ups to keep members engagedBe the warm, recognizable face our members come back forTrack retention, attendance, and engagement metrics in MindbodyTeam & operations leadership:Help recruit, train, and develop coaching staffAssist with scheduling and weekly workout reviews with the training teamSupport studio operations — opening/closing, cleanliness, supply managementPartner with ownership on staff meetings and quarterly check-insWhat we're looking for:Current nationally-recognized PT certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent)Current CPR/AED certification2+ years personal training experience; small group experience strongly preferredPrior leadership, team lead, or assistant manager experience a major plusGenuine warmth — our members come back because of how you make them feelStrong communication and follow-through; you do what you say you'll doTech comfortable — Mindbody, Alloy app, basic spreadsheets, social mediaReliability and integrity.
