This position will be responsible for ensuring daily integrity of the inventory and housekeeping.Primary responsibilities include:Observes all safety rules and uses the proper safety equipment at all timesFollows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelinesConducts cycle countingAssists the Supervisor/Group Leader in managing quality-control systems, which includes training personnel, monitoring compliance with procedures and troubleshooting problems, to include providing key input for formal appraisalsConducts audits of incoming materials as requestedParticipates in monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventoriesConducts inventory variance researchAssists with the training of other employeesMonitors housekeeping in all areas of the plant and directs efforts to maintain excellent housekeepingOperates the radio frequency equipment to conduct inventory movements, barcode scanning, and physical inventoriesPerforms other duties as necessary when directed to do soInspects all equipment used on a daily basis and report defects to ManagementSupports production lines with material requestsAssists with repack and labeling operations when necessaryThe ideal candidate should possess the following:Standard knowledge of product codes, general warehouse procedures, and the radio frequency systemFundamental computer knowledge or willingness to learnExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate orally and in writingAbility to operate in a fast-paced environmentAbility to operate in a team-oriented environmentAbility to operate all warehouse material handling equipmentWhat We Offer YouCompetitive base salary and bonus opportunitiesPaid time off (three-week minimum)Medical, dental and vision starting day one401(k) with employer matchPaid parental leaveChild and family care assistance (dependent care FSA with employer match up to $2500)Bundle of joy benefit (year's worth of free diapers to all team members with a new baby)Tuition assistanceWellness program with savings of up to $4,000 per year on insurance premiums...and more!First Quality is committed to protecting information under the care of First Quality Enterprises commensurate with leading industry standards and applicable regulations.
