Working in close partnership with senior leadership, this individual will lead strategy, drive capture, and deliver results, with full accountability for growth, client relationships, and P&L performance across AECOM's transit and rail portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the South Florida Transit MarketServe as AECOM's visible, credible leader across the region—actively shaping conversations with agencies, partners, and industry stakeholders.Drive Strategic Growth & CaptureIdentify and secure major transit and rail opportunities, positioning AECOM to win and deliver marquee programs across Broward, Miami-Dade, and the broader region.Build and Inspire a High-Performing TeamRecruit, develop, and retain top-tier talent—creating a culture that attracts industry leaders and emerging professionals alike.Strengthen Client Relationships at the Executive LevelCultivate deep, trusted relationships with transit agency leadership, anticipating needs and positioning AECOM as a long-term strategic partner.Own Business Performance (P&L Accountability)Translate strategy into measurable results—driving revenue growth, backlog expansion, and strong project profitability.Elevate AECOM's Competitive PositionExpand AECOM's role in program delivery, design-build pursuits, and major capital programs—enhancing our visibility and influence in the market.Deliver Excellence Across ProjectsEnsure consistent performance in quality, safety, technical delivery, and client satisfaction across all assignments.Partner Across the EnterpriseCollaborate with national transit leadership, operations, and technical teams to bring the full strength of AECOM to South Florida clients.Champion Culture and ValuesFoster a culture grounded in safety, inclusion, innovation, and accountability—aligned with AECOM's Safeguard commitment.QualificationsMinimum:BA/BS and 12 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education, including 4 years of leadership experience.Preferred:Licensed Florida Civil EngineerBachelor's degree in civil engineeringLeadership experience managing large teams, with prior P&L responsibilityExperience in scoping and estimating complex projectsExperience in tracking and managing task budgets and schedulesExperience developing extensive internal and external networks, with effective communication skills to inspire and lead othersExperience in teaching and mentoring technical staff, demonstrating knowledge of relevant technical skills and toolsExperienced working independently with minimal supervision while remaining team-oriented.Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely with clients, leadership, and technical staff.Experience managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines while maintaining professionalism and qualityAdditional InformationRelocation is an option for this positionSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position
