This role will focus on developing scalable, containerized solutions leveraging AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and DevOps/GitOps practices to support high-performing, resilient systems.The ideal candidate has strong experience in cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and software development, along with a passion for building efficient, maintainable, and production-ready applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on AWSBuild and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)Implement serverless and event-driven architectures using tools such as KnativeDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and GitOps practices with Argo CDPackage and deploy applications using Helm charts for Kubernetes environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient software solutionsOptimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environmentsEnsure adherence to best practices in security, monitoring, and observabilityTroubleshoot and resolve issues across distributed systems and microservicesRequired QualificationsProven experience working with AWS cloud servicesStrong Hands-on Experience WithDockerKubernetes (Amazon EKS)KnativeHelmExperience With CI/CD Pipelines And DevOps/GitOps Tools, IncludingGitLabArgo CDSolid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systemsExperience building and deploying cloud-native applicationsDesired SkillsProgramming experience in:PythonJavaScript / TypeScriptExperience With Frameworks And Libraries Such AsFlaskNode.jsReactNext.jsDatabase Experience WithPostgreSQLSQLSQLAlchemyFamiliarity with API development, RESTful services, and backend design patternsBelong, Connect and Grow at KBRAt KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
