Construction Yard and Materials Runner

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable in Construction Materials to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Yard and Materials Runner to join our construction crew. This role is crucial for keeping our projects on schedule by ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are delivered promptly and accurately to job sites. You will be responsible for yard organization, inventory management, and material transportation. Key Responsibilities: Drive a company truck to transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites, vendors, and the main yard. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, as well as securing loads for safe transport. Organize and maintain the cleanliness and order of the company yard and warehouse. Perform regular equipment and vehicle inspections to ensure they are in working order. Conduct inventory tasks and communicate with the crew and supervisors about material needs. Assist with general site tasks as needed to support the construction team. Follow all safety protocols and procedures on the road and at job sites. Qualifications: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Proven ability to drive a work truck, potentially with a trailer. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 80 lbs). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Prior experience in a construction yard or warehouse is a plus. Experience operating a forklift or skid steer is preferred (training may be provided). High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
