Position DescriptionHands-on completion of laboratory analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, and final batch samples in support of a manufacturing and technology and innovation (R&D Environment). Operation of injection molding equipment to prepare test specimens. This position is responsible for reading and complying with the Company's Environmental and Quality Policies. This position is also responsible for reporting to management deviations from the policy when they are observed.Roles Responsibilities Work a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts. Assigned hours and shift based on lab needs. Perform laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and final batch samples. Operate injection molding equipment. Accurate documentation and lab records maintenance. Ability to multitask in a high-quality environment. Follow lab work instructions. Commitment to safety. Report deviations from policies. Other duties as assigned.Skills Ability to lift 55 pounds. Dependable transportation, excellent attendance, and timeliness. Accurate, thorough documentation skills. Ability to multitask. Lab experience. Strong commitment to safety. Self-motivated with strong output of accurate results. Ability to follow lab work instructions. Basic math skills including calculating percentages, averages, unit conversions, and rounding. Minimum color aptitude as demonstrated by the Farnsworth-Munsell Hue Test.Education High School Diploma or Equivalent.Shifts Lab is open 24/7 Day Shift Hour Options: 5am - 3pm / 7am - 5pm / 9am - 7pm Night Shift Hour Options: 5pm - 3am / 7pm - 5am / 9pm - 7am Four 10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule: 2 weeks: Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri then 2 weeks: Mon, Tue, Sat.
