The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in both installation and service. This is a full-time, in-person role that requires a daily commute to our shop in Mahwah, NJ. You will be responsible for end-to-end HVAC solutions, from complex new installations to emergency diagnostics and repairs. Key Responsibilities Installation: Expertly install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Service & Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform equipment repairs and replacements for a variety of HVAC systems. Assist with some plumbing installation and repair Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity. Emergency Response: Promptly respond to and accurately diagnose emergency maintenance requests. Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and industry regulations on every job site. Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of verifiable HVAC experience (both installation and service) is required. Technical Proficiency: * Expert familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with ductwork and system modifications. Tools: Must own a full set of personal plumbing and sheet metal tools, or be willing to obtain them within 2 weeks of employment. Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver's License and maintain a clean driving record for insurance purposes. Certifications: EPA or OSHA certifications are strongly preferred. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour, with the final rate based on your specific experience and skill level. Bonuses: Yearly performance-based bonuses.
