IOS & Android Mobile Development - Senior

Senior Android Mobile Developer On behalf of our financial client, Procom is searching for an Android Mobile Developer for an 18-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s office (Austin or Southlake, TX). Job Description: The project involves developing and enhancing native Android applications for an enterprise-scale platform. The role focuses on implementing new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring high-quality performance and user experience. Responsibilities: • Design, implement, test, release, and support production Android features. • Collaborate with Agile delivery teams for sprint planning and execution. • Provide technical leadership through code and design reviews. • Communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs to stakeholders. Mandatory Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of professional native Android development experience. • Proficiency with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK. • Experience with REST APIs and modern Android architecture patterns. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience in a SAFe or Agile Release Train environment. • Experience in regulated or high-availability environments. • Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing. • Responsible use of AI-assisted engineering tools. Assignment Length: This is an 18-month contract position. Start Date: ASAP. Assignment Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Alternative location is Southlake, Texas. Hybrid role with 4 days in the office.
