Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Material Handler - Inventory & Logistics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory movement, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring seamless shipping and receiving processes. Your proactive approach will help maintain our high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy across all warehouse operations. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, is organized and can handle multiple priorities completing their attention.
Job Description
Responsible for the physical and digital movements of raw material and scrap material within the plant. Strong focus will be ERP (ProShop) data management and physical organization. Responsible also for local driving of materials and parts.
Required Qualifications
Ability to perform bending, stretching, kneeling, and lifting when required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Previous manufacturing experience working in a factory
Fork-truck experience
Local delivery driving experience
Strong physical and digital organization skills
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean, organized and efficient receiving area, including end of shift housekeeping tasks such as waste removal and general facility upkeep.
Raw Material:
Load and unload raw materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety standards
Stage material for incoming inspection
Move material into lineside packaging and store location in ERP. Includes saw cutting ~144” bars into 48” bars if necessary
Bring material to machines and remove material from machines maintaining traceability to certifications
Scrap Material:
Administer scrap material program
Physically dump scrap metals into appropriate bins
Coordinate with vendors to remove scrap metals
Maintain organization of exterior yard (scrap material and overflow storage)
Deliveries:
Drive Ford Transit van to make local deliveries of finished parts or outside processing (
