Manufacturing Engineer Sr - Second Shift
Overview
As a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in the Fabrication area, you will help design and optimize manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures. You will drive adoption of automation and digital tools to improve efficiency, cost, and quality. You’ll analyze factory data, develop SPC approaches, and support product design input to maximize manufacturability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and advance operational excellence in a challenging, mission-focused environment.

ResponsibilitiesInterfacing with design, manufacturing, test, quality, and stakeholders as products move from planning to releaseUsing SAP, dPLM, and other tools to develop sequence of operations, work-instructions, and production recordsAssisting in procurement and implementation of equipment, tools, and material handling systemsApplying lean six sigma concepts to maximize facility utilization and improve workflowUsing 2D/3D modeling tools to assist in planning manufacturing cells and layoutsAnalyzing data to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve first pass qualityInvestigating issues, gathering data, and presenting corrective actions and solutionsEstablishing hazard prevention measures including safety and ergonomic training
Key requirementsBS in Engineering Discipline with 3 years of experience or MS in Engineering Discipline with 1+ year of experienceMust be a US citizencollaborationproblem solvingcommunicationSAPdPLM2D/3D modeling tools
