Project manager/Implementation consultant

Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant with a strong development background who has transitioned into a Project/Program Delivery role. This position requires a techno-functional leader capable of managing end-to-end implementations in the payments and fintech ecosystem, while effectively engaging with stakeholders and driving delivery.This is not a pure Business Analyst or generalist Project Manager role. We are specifically looking for a Developer Lead turned Delivery/Project Manager who understands technology deeply and can navigate complex systems and integrations.Key Responsibilities:-Lead end-to-end implementation and program delivery for payment solutions and digital platformsAct as the primary client-facing point of contact, ensuring strong stakeholder engagementDrive merchant onboarding, payment gateway integrations, and digital banking implementationsManage project lifecycle including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and deliveryCoordinate with onshore/offshore teams to ensure seamless executionFacilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and status reportingProvide technical guidance by understanding system architecture and identifying the right teams for issue resolution (hardware/software)Lead or support data center migration and technology upgrade projectsEnsure high-quality documentation, reporting, and presentations for stakeholdersRequired Qualifications:-10–12 years of experience in program/project delivery, preferably in BFSI or fintech5+ years of hands-on experience in the payments industryMerchant onboardingPayment gateway integrationsDigital banking platformsKnowledge of acquiring and issuing businessStrong client-facing experience with excellent stakeholder management skillsPrior experience working with global payment aggregator platforms (e.g., FIS, Fiserv, etc.)Solid understanding of implementation lifecycle and configuration-driven deliveryExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management)Proven experience in complex data center migration and technology upgrade projectsExcellent communication, documentation, and presentation skillsPreferred Profile:Background as a software developer/technical lead who transitioned into delivery or project managementStrong understanding of technology stacks, integrations, and infrastructureAbility to bridge business and technology teams effectivelyDevelopers with strong communication skills are highly preferred
