Drywall Technician

Seeking a motivated individual to join our team of drywall specialists. The ideal worker has 5+ years in drywall repair, plaster, texture, and painting within residential homes- is detail oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable and presentable, and can guide other technicians to follow a specific process to perform quality drywall repairs. Ability to interact with homeowners & customers to solve any issues on the job, and manage supplies purchases for each repair/installation. A high skill level is required and expected to be demonstrated on each job, along with technology proficiency required to utilize company app systems for job management. Eventually, as demonstrated by proficiency, this individual will be full time with additional incentives. This job will focus on the Central Dallas (Downtown), East Dallas, and North/Northeast areas. A valid drivers license is required. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The operator is expected to have extensive experience in drywall repair, drywall instillation, or general home repair; experience managing work crews is a plus. Candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspect of the project, including scheduling, operational details, ordering supplies, and follow-up. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the home repair is done correctly and efficiently, with managing supply & paint purchases before, and during the repair based on needs of the job. Ability to work independently and keep manager updated on job status. The position requires good communication skills to provide project status to the customer and progress reports to the business owner. Pay based on experience and qualifications. Performance bonuses in addition to base pay is possible after training period. Tips are also a common occurance QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 3+ years of working with drywall installation & painting or repairs required Computer and Technology savvy. Ability to use Customer Services App Experience with managing home repair crews is a big plus Valid driver’s license Reliable transportation to jobsites Clean driving record Ability to be at Jobs on time Fluent in English Preferred Skills Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude Strong work ethic with entrepreneurial mindset Computer and Technology savvy Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 75lbs Desire to learn and improve Reliable transportation to jobsites 5+ years in drywall repair.
