Redding Elementary School: Registered Behavioral Technician JobID: 1274Position Type:Special Services/ABA TherapistDate Posted:2/11/2026Location:Redding Elementary School, Redding, CTDate Available:2/23/26Closing Date:Until FilledAdditional Information: Show/HideSchedule: Registered Behavioral Technician (BT)Schedule: Redding Elementary SchoolSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7.25 hours per day; 185 days per academic year with additional summer hoursAvailable: Immediate opening.Responsibilities:The Non-Certified Behavior Therapist will report to a designated special education teacher and behavioral analyst and will:Accompany assigned student throughout the school day to provide behavioral and academic supportImplement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher and behavior analystAttend related service sessions with student (ex. speech, OT, PT) and reinforce work in these goal areasWork with other specialists and parents to implement additional specified goals and objectivesImplement programs developed by teacher and consultantMaintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programsPlan and implement all aspects of systematic instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environmentsMeet regularly with behavior analyst, special education teacher, support teamAttend staff meetingsVideotape work sessions as appropriateProvide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or teamQualifications:RBT CertificationBachelor's DegreeExperience requiredDemonstrate knowledge of special education practices (autism)Possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skillsMust be highly motivated and self-directedSalary & Benefits: $22/hour; full benefits package.
