Here’s Just Some Of What You’ll Be DoingDeveloping an open source, enterprise web frameworkProviding support for said framework to 1,000+ engineers, including trainingDesigning intuitive, functional and extensible APIsBuilding cross platform components and libraries for future reuse and open sourceOptimizing software for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers as well as servers.Automating builds, testing, deployments and otherwise manual processesThoroughly reviewing pull requests and identifying breaking changesMinimum QualificationsAbility & aptitude for solving complex problems with simple solutionsForward thinking that anticipates the needs of our users & the enterpriseCommunication skills to teach users, both in writing and speakingOpen-source mindset, understanding of how/when to split functionality into reusable libs that can benefit the whole OSS community beyond the enterpriseStrong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, & React, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelKnowledge of Accessibility and Web StandardsUnderstanding of React and its core principlesFamiliarity with newer specifications of ECMAScriptExperience with common JavaScript development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, yarn, etc.Experience writing automated tests including unit, integration, visual and performance testing.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsAbility to perform benchmarking and optimizationPreferred QualificationsExperience architecting & building and high performance, high quality software designed for enterprise capacityHas existing OSS contributions or created libraries that work outside of their applicationYou’ll do more than the expected. It’s a fresh take on web application development which consists of a Node.js server that serves up a single page app built using React components and makes use of Holocron, our open-source library for building and composing micro frontends) to allow for code splitting via independently developed, tested, and deployed Holocron Modules (micro frontends).How will you make an impact in this role?
