Assistant Food Service Director of Catering

Guaranteeing that client catering expectations are met and exceeded through impeccable organization and flawless execution at every event. Recruit, hire and train a permanent and on-call catering team. Manage all billing of catering events. Aid in general location management as part of the SAGE management team. Develop strong client and guest relationships. Communicate clearly, professionally and effectively. Maintain all HACCP standards. Create a positive team environment. Follow and ensure SAGE standards and uphold SAGE mission. What you'll need:Minimum three years hands-on catering experience. Knowledge of all things catering: set ups, menu process and client meetings. High energy, positive attitude and superior ethics. Candidate must be dynamic, outgoing, and friendly. Ability to plan and organize with proficiency. Proven familiarity with costing/billing and banquet event orders. Catering background a must, culinary background a plus. Outstanding guest service skills. Fluency in sanitation and safety standards. Superior computer skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Current ServSafe certification, as well as local health department certification, where required.
