Project Management Assistant

Action Electric is a growing Electrical Contractor in Sioux Falls. We are looking for a Part Time Project Management Assistant with a positive attitude, solid computer skills, attention to detail, willingness to be flexible, and an eagerness to learn.This position will be responsible for assisting the lead Project Manager with project bidding, talking to vendors and contractors regarding projects and materials needed, organizing job files, as well as the following:Learn bidding softwareEffectively communicate with lead Project ManagerRead blueprints or be willing to learnOrganize, set up and schedule electrical jobsAble to assist with locating and procuring materialsStay on task and think aheadSome construction or electrical understandingMOTIVATED for growthOther tasks as assignedLooking to hire someone Part time for 20-25 hours per week, with business growth this job may become a full time position.$18 - $20 Depending on experienceVacation / Sick / Holiday payCasual dress codeJob RequirementsProficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to learn new skillsProfessional attitudeProject management knowledgeSelf-starter, problem solver and proactive when issues ariseMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksConstruction, electrical and blueprint reading are a plus but not requiredHigh School degree or GED requiredJ-18808-Ljbffr
