Saturday rotational preferred.Available DaysMonday-Saturday 8:30 am to 4:30Driver/MoverThe role of Delivery Driver/Furniture Mover is to make local deliveries and pickups in cargo vans and box trucks up to 26ft. These are day trips within a 50 mile radius of Hatfield, PA but not limited to areas of PA, NJ, NY, MD, DE. These deliveries and pickups are scheduled at least a day in advance. This is NOT a small package delivery position. Successful candidates will be skilled as Furniture Movers including proper wrapping and packing techniques. We NEVER cancel shifts. When no deliveries or pickups are scheduled, drivers will be working in the showroom moving furniture and organizing the workspaces. Some key tasks include (but not limited to):Key Responsibilities:Drive vehicles that deliver and pick up furniture from homes and businesses within a 50 mile radius of Hatfield, PA.Working as a two [sometimes three] person team to safely perform in-home delivery and in-home pickup of furniture, art, and home goods. The items are frequently very heavy. Often weighing over 200 lbs.Items are frequently delivered to or picked up from upper or basement levels without elevator accessPerform assembly and disassembly services as neededComplete all paperwork for each customer pick up/delivery accuratelySafely operate all company vehiclesComplete all applicable safety trainings and abide by OSHA standardsFollow all federal and state regulations regarding cargo transportation and road safetyProvide updates to customers on arrival times for deliveriesIf any delays or unexpected events occur, they are reported back to the office immediately.Safely move, load, and unload large and very heavy furniture and home items from estates, trucks, and into storage or showroom spacesWrap, pad, and protect furniture to prevent damage during transportationReport and document all incidents of damage to vehicles, items, or employees immediatelyWork closely with team members to plan and execute moves efficiently and carefullyNavigate stairs, narrow hallways, and tight spaces with oversized itemsMaintain a clean and organized moving truck and workspaceDeliver exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveriesBasic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.Ability to receive direction on projects and then work independentlyOrganize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring that products are stored in an orderly manner.Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items accurately.Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment.Instruct new Drive and Moving Team members on company procedures and moving/packing techniques.Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all timesQualifications:Prior experience in moving, warehouse, or delivery roles preferred but not requiredAbility to lift and carry heavy furniture (100+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the dayStrong work ethic and dependabilityGood communication and teamwork skillsProfessional demeanor and appearanceValid driver's license and clean driving record a plusAvailability for flexible hours, including some weekendsCDL is NOT requiredWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly pay based on experienceOpportunities for overtimePaid time offRetirement plan with 3% matchHealth careTuition reimbursementA supportive, team-oriented environmentOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for growth within the companyFull-Time and Part-Time opportunities are availableIf you're strong, motivated, and take pride in doing a physically demanding job well, we'd love to hear from you.
