Control Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer 1Location: Washington, IllinoisNotes:Validation activities primarily in the telematic spaceTrying to get information from back office and understand end to end customer validation experienceTeam has 6 peopleGroup is broken in different areas – this person will focus on remote activities in telematicsYou basically run test from a distance – not having to physically be connected to machinemixture of controls engineer having some knowledge of mechanical systems – interacting more with wiring harness and troubleshooting systemsLooking for a engineer that has couple of experience doing validation type of testingIt is a probably 50% desk role and 50% on machine testing8 hour a day, 5 days a week in office roleTraining will be on job (provided by the other team members)Part of what they do is driven by customer experience – think outside the box and figure out how system will respond before pushing out the productHaving a engineering degree is mustPrefers candidates with ethernet and CAN experienceInterview process:Manager and team lead will take the first roundReview background and questions around their job experienceAccess how they can contribute to the teamThere may or may not be a 2nd round
