Software Developer

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: We’re looking for a dedicated, resourceful and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our development team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet user needs. You’ll collaborate closely with fellow developers, third-party contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, innovative features. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with sharp problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, committed to building efficient and reliable systems. This role will also occasionally assist with on-site IT support needs, coordinating with our third-party IT service provider to troubleshoot issues and help maintain uninterrupted business operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, test, and maintain software applications and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing. Demonstrate a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills, tools, and technologies to support team and project growth. Provide occasional on-site IT support and coordinate with our third-party IT service provider to resolve technical issues. All other job duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; alternatively, completion of a coding bootcamp or an associate degree combined with relevant professional experience. Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Kotlin, or similar. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. NICE TO HAVE: Hands-on experience with Zoho and NetSuite platforms for business operations and data management. Familiarity with PLC programming, particularly in industrial or manufacturing environments. Practical experience in automation technologies within a manufacturing setting.
