Encompass Admin
Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Encompass Admin to support the migration of existing Encompass SDK-based customizations and integrations to modern API-based architecture using Encompass Developer Connect APIs. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Encompass administrators, architects, and integration teams to assess current-state implementations, redesign integrations where needed, and deliver secure, scalable, and supportable solutions.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass, legacy SDK-based development, and modern REST API / middleware integration patterns. Experience in mortgage loan origination workflows and regulated financial environments is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities• Analyze existing Encompass SDK-based customizations, plugins, forms, and integrations.• Assess current functionality and map legacy SDK capabilities to Encompass APIs / Developer Connect services.• Design and develop API-based replacement solutions for existing SDK implementations.• Rebuild or refactor business logic currently embedded in Encompass SDK components into external services, middleware, or integration layers.• Develop integrations between Encompass and downstream/upstream systems such as CRM, document management, underwriting, pricing, servicing, and reporting platforms.• Work with architects and business stakeholders to identify migration gaps, dependencies, and redesign requirements.• Support authentication, authorization, API security, and environment configuration for Encompass integrations.• Perform impact analysis, regression testing, troubleshooting, and defect resolution during migration.• Support phased migration, deployment, cutover planning, and post-production stabilization.• Document technical design, integration mappings, APIs, and support procedures.• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards for performance, scalability, security, and auditability.Required Qualifications• Strong hands-on experience with ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass.• Proven experience in Encompass SDK development, including custom forms, plugins, workflows, or integrations.• Experience migrating or modernizing legacy SDK-based solutions to API-based integrations.• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and integration design patterns.• Proficiency in C# / .NET and related backend development technologies.• Experience with authentication and security models such as OAuth, tokens, API keys, and role-based access controls.• Understanding of Encompass loan lifecycle, data model, personas, and business workflows.• Experience with troubleshooting, logging, monitoring, and production support.• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including business users, admins, QA, and enterprise architects.• Strong communication and documentation skills.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with Encompass Developer Connect APIs.• Experience in mortgage lending, loan origination systems, or financial services platforms.• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.• Exposure to middleware / iPaaS / integration tools.• Experience with SQL, data mapping, and enterprise integration patterns.• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.• Experience working in compliance-sensitive or regulated environments.Key Skills• Encompass SDK• Encompass Developer Connect APIs• ICE Mortgage Technology Encompass• C# / .NET• REST APIs• JSON / Web Services• OAuth / API Security• Middleware / System Integration• Mortgage LOS workflows• Troubleshooting and migration supportSuccess Criteria• Complete assessment of current SDK-based customizations and integrations.• Deliver clear migration approach and technical mapping from SDK to API-based solutions.• Build stable, secure, and scalable replacement integrations with minimal business disruption.• Support successful testing, cutover, and production stabilization.Nice-to-Have ProfileThe ideal candidate is someone who combines:• Ceep Encompass platform knowledge• legacy SDK development experience• modern API/integration engineering skills• understanding of mortgage operations and workflows
