Junior Java DeveloperOn-Site RoleCompensation: $28.hrApplications accepted until at least October 16, 2026ABOUT THE ROLEOur client is seeking a Java Developer to join their team, responsible for designing, developing, and integrating data solutions that support business stakeholders and align with company strategy and goals. As a key member of a collaborative technical team, you will participate in the analysis and review of epics, features, and user stories, contribute to technical design, and engage in all Agile ceremonies. The Java Developer will develop and modify software applications, participate in code reviews and integration testing, assist with documentation, and provide production support, including on-call rotation. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, interface with multiple technical teams, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of business and technology processes.WHAT YOU'LL DOParticipate in the analysis and review of epics, features, and user storiesContribute to the design and review of technical design for component software featuresEngage in all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Demos/Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog RefinementDevelop technical solutions based on user specifications and technology frameworks, adhering to company standardsModify and enhance existing software applications as assignedParticipate in code reviews and integration testing of solutionsDebug and resolve issues identified during testing phasesAssist in documenting and implementing software programs and solutionsCollaborate with technical teams interfacing with assigned applicationsCreate and maintain system documentation, manuals, and policy documentsResearch and analyze production support issuesParticipate in scheduled production releasesParticipate in the team's on-call rotation for application supportPerform other duties as assignedWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldExperience with Java for back-end and API developmentExperience with Git or other version control toolsExperience with SQL and writing queriesExperience with non-relational databases such as Mongo, SQL, Oracle, or DB2Strong technical writing and verbal communication skillsExperience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointDemonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn business and technology processesExperience working in an Agile delivery environment (preferred)Experience with Restful APIs (preferred)Experience with Python is a plusDisclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
