This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced plumbers in a fast-paced environment.Position SummaryThe Plumbing Helper assists plumbers and field supervisors with residential plumbing installations, repairs, and daily job site operations. This position supports the team by helping maintain tools, materials, and job site cleanliness while learning the plumbing trade and company processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist plumbers with residential plumbing installations and repairsHelp load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materialsMaintain clean and organized job sitesAssist with rough-in, top-out, and trim phases of residential plumbing projectsDig trenches, cut pipe, and help prepare work areas as neededDeliver materials and supplies to job sites when necessaryFollow company safety procedures and job site expectationsCommunicate professionally with team members and supervisorsSupport warehouse and field operations as neededLearn plumbing systems, tools, and installation processes through hands-on trainingQualifications Plumbing or construction experience preferred but not requiredWillingness to learn and work in a physically active environmentAbility to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying conditionsDependable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamValid driver's license preferredSchedule Full-timeMonday-Friday, with occasional overtime depending on workloadCompensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experiencePaid time off and holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insurance options401(k) retirement planOpportunities for growth and advancement within the companyWhy Work for Jenkins Plumbing?At Jenkins Plumbing Company, LC, we believe in building strong teams and developing employees from the ground up.
