Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support mechanical manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing safety.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical tools, equipment, machines, and related systems.Support manufacturing operations through hands-on engineering and technical problem-solving.Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to maintenance teams.Review engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.Assist with the development and improvement of mechanical and structural designs using CAD and engineering software.Apply GD&T principles to engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.Analyze design proposals and specifications to determine project feasibility, cost, and timelines.Support manufacturing process improvements, safety initiatives, and operational efficiency.Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and drafting teams to resolve technical issues.Utilize Microsoft Office and engineering applications for documentation, analysis, and reporting.Work with manufacturing processes, including foundry operations and, preferably, machining processes.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline.2–4 years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience.Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety, GD&T, and problem-solving techniques.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and engineering reports.Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.Familiarity with CAD or other engineering software.Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.Self-starter with strong attention to detail.Preferred QualificationsAssociate's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience may be considered.Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.Experience with foundry processes.Familiarity with machining processes.Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft PowerApps.
