Job TitleJob DescriptionHelpReceive and schedule patients for treatment. Obtain and record related medical history of patient. Chart examination and treatment information.Sterilize instruments, materials, and equipment; prepare surgical trays. Maintain dental equipment in a clean and operative condition.Take preliminary impressions for study models, remove sutures, place and remove rubber dams, perio-packs, matrix bands, and wedges.Instruct patients in proper dental techniques, care of appliances, and causes of dental decay.Operate dental X-ray equipment to take intra and extraoral radiographs. Maintain, clean, and perform minor repairs on X-ray equipment and materials.Assist dentist at chair side. Perform intra-oral procedures as directed by dentist.
