Position: Engineering Manager Location: Corona, California (On-Site)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team for a global manufacturer of advanced capital equipment. This California-based operation specializes in the design and build of high-temperature vacuum furnaces, primarily serving the aerospace industry. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving engineering strategy, product innovation, and execution across complex, custom-built industrial systems.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of 6 engineers (Electrical and Mechanical)Oversee engineering activities related to the design and build of vacuum furnace systemsDevelop and execute engineering strategies focused on innovation, efficiency, and product advancementCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Project Management, and Manufacturing teamsEnsure all designs meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal engineering principlesDrive continuous improvement across engineering processes, manufacturing performance, and cost controlSupport customer-facing technical discussions, proposals, and project executionOversee integration and performance of electrical systems including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADAProvide leadership in advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and system optimizationDeliver executive-level reporting on engineering performance, timelines, and project risksQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)7–10+ years of experience in industrial machinery design and manufacturingREQUIRED: Experience working for a designer and builder of capital equipment3–5+ years of engineering leadership or management experienceStrong understanding of industrial automation, controls, and system integrationExperience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and instrumentationFamiliarity with Allen Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500/5000), Wonderware, or similar toolsWorking knowledge of mechanical engineering principlesProficiency with CAD and Microsoft Office toolsAdditional RequirementsTravel: ~20% (primarily within North America)Work Authorization:This position requires eligibility to access export-controlled information under U.S. law (ITAR/EAR).
