Our B2B platforms provide live scheduling at the point of care and harness AI to ease workflows for physicians, attorneys, and providers.The Senior Accountant role will be central to our finance team, reporting to our Accounting Manager, and will deliver trusted, accurate financial statements and reporting.WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:The Senior Accountant will be a key member of our finance team, partnering closely with the team to deliver accurate, timely, and trusted financial reporting.This role is critical in building scalable processes, strengthening internal controls, and supporting strategic decision-making as we continue to grow.Financial Close & ReportingPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAnalyze trends, variances, and account activity to ensure financial accuracyManage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to deliver accurate financial statements within tight deadlinesPrepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-makingSupport external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiriesMaintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirementsProcess OptimizationAssist in developing and refining accounting policies to improve efficiencyDrive efficiency through process improvements and automation initiativesEnhance data quality and scalability across finance systems and workflowsTeam LeadershipWhile the role will have no direct reports, the senior accountant will assist in developing junior staff into a proactive, solution-oriented teamTHE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:Accelerate Close Process - Deliver monthly management accounts within 5 business days of the month-endImprove Data Quality - Implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial dataOptimize Systems & Automation - Reduce manual touchpoints and streamline workflows for scalabilityStrengthen Controls - Design and implement a robust, documented, and automated control environmentBuild a High-Performing Team - Develop and mentor the junior staff into a trusted, solution-oriented partner for the greater organizationWHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:A deep understanding of accounting principles and best practices to ensure accurate and compliant financial reportingComfortable with tight month-end close deadlines and the ability to deliver against deadlinesExperience in a supervisory role, managing and developing an accounting teamExperience in dealing with internal and external auditorsPublic accounting experience preferredCPA, or equivalent qualification, is preferredAdvanced proficiency with Excel for financial analysisExperience working in a high-growth business, ideally in a multi-entity environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBENEFITS:We go beyond the basics with our benefits package.
