Role: Vehicle - Durability AnalystLocation: Invine, CA - Onsite6-12+ Months ContractMust-HaveGood knowledge in basics of FEA, Meshing, setting up the deck, execution, post-processing results and fatigue calculations.Must deliver full vehicle strength and durability, closure slam, suspension strength and durability, interior trim, cockpit strength and durability.Must carry out simulations on Vehicle Hardware Engineering Systems (Cockpit, Seat, Interior Trim, Door Trim, Exterior Trim, Body Structure, Closures, Tow Hook & Chassis) for durability requirements and regulations.FE analysis iterations by quick modification of FE models to evaluate possible countermeasures and provide design direction to the design team.Should be well-versed in performing simulation using CAE software like ANSA, Hypermesh, Abaqus, Nastran, Optistruct, and Ncode.Good knowledge of understanding test setup/results, correlating test results with CAE.Proficiency in Python would be an added advantage.Should have knowledge of AGILE and JIRA.Good-to-HaveKnowledge on optimization; should be able to provide directions to design teams in platform development is desirable.Sol 400 and Nastran.Knowledge of overall Automotive CAE development.
