Welder/Fabricator

Position SummaryThis candidate must have proven experience with welding and fabrication-experience with TIG welding aluminum and stainless steel; strong background in cutting, mitering, and welding stainless steel frames, pipe/tube etc.; some structural welding to tractor trailers, structural support steel, etc.; attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential in this role.Essential DutiesPerform welding and fabricating tasks as per drawings or verbal direction on medical related equipment.Ensure all work meets company quality standards and complies with relevant safety regulations.Operate various welding equipment, cutting tools, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.Inspect completed work to ensure quality, integrity and compliance with project specifications.Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to customer satisfaction.Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Education/ExperienceRequired:High School diploma or equivalentPreferredWelding certification or trade school educationCompetenciesProven experience as a welder/fabricator, preferably with experience in TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum.Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.Strong knowledge of metal properties and the ability to work with various types of metals.Experience with operating welding equipment, grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.Physical EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
