Sr. Backend Python Developer(W2)

Overview We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to support a greenfield infrastructure automation platform. This person will collaborate with the Infra Automation team to design and develop scalable backend services and automation workflows to accelerate internal infrastructure delivery.Responsibilities Design and build backend systems for infrastructure orchestrationWrite clean, maintainable code using Python, Java, or similar OO languagesCollaborate with DevOps and platform teams to build internal tools and servicesDevelop interfaces with various database systems (SQL/NoSQL)Build automation that runs reliably on Linux-based systemsRequirements Proficiency in Python or Java (experience with both is a plus)Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principlesStrong experience with Linux environmentsFamiliarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)Exposure to Rust is a plusFamiliarity with messaging architectures, caching technologies, streaming and/or transaction processing systemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable with multi-tasking, context switching in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with the financial services industryKnowledge of infrastructure systems and automation is desirable.
