Title: Process Engineer II (4 people requested, but will hire 6 if good candidates are available)Location: Hemlock, MI (Solar Plant), 100% On-SiteSchedule/Hours: 6A -6P /6P-6A on a 2-3-2 rotating schedule. 2 Days On, 2 Days Off, 3 Days On, 2 Days Off, 2 Days On, 3 Days Off (swing to days/mids). This means workers will work day shift one week and night shift the next week.Max bill rate: ***/hrNonlocal candidates who are willing to relocate at their own expense will be considered, but please remember this is a temporary assignment.Interview process: Two interviews (either by phone or teams)Education: BS in mechanical, electrical, chemical, industrial engineering strongly preferredMinimum Experience: 2+ years required, 5+ preferred in a manufacturing environmentProduct OF POSITION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for providing hands-on support for identifying and implementing process improvements, variability reduction, defect reduction, process control, throughput improvements and 6-Sigma initiatives.Collect key process data and support the execution of experiments at the direction of the plant process engineers.Analyze data sets to identify relationships/capabilities for line performanceSupport the development of standard work documentation to include SOPs, SOS, Job Aids and Training Documentation.Supports problem-solving in manufacturing, including root cause identification and resolution.Ensures safe work practices.REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCES:Experienced WITH and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment providing hands-on technical support.Willingness to work shiftsTechnical curiosity with the ability to learn quicklyCapable of multitaskingMust be a self-starter, able to work in team environment.Strong data analysis, interpretation, visualization, and problem-solving skillsADDITIONAL SKILLS TO HAVE,BUT NOT REQUIRED:Skills and experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DoE) methods.Demonstrated technical expertise in process improvementSOFT SKILLS:Excellent communications, interpersonal and influencing skills.Ability to collaborate and work with diverse teams (skills, gender, culture, race, etc.)Comfortable with ambiguity and changing prioritiesTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:0% travelPosition will be based in Hemlock, MIWORK SCHEDULE:2-3-2 Rotating 12 Hour Work Schedule (Day: 6 A to 6 P / Night: 6P to 6A)o 28 day (4 week cycle)o 42 hours per weeko 2 hours OT/week
