The IT Support Computing Analyst II is a key contributor to the Enterprise Support team, providing technical assistance and customer-focused support to help faculty, staff, and Campus Colleagues effectively use University technology resources. This position installs, configures, and maintains computers, software, and peripherals; resolves routine and moderately complex technical issues; and collaborates with other IT staff to ensure consistent and reliable technology services across the University.This position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance and disability programs; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; retirement plans; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to faculty, staff, and designated campus colleagues, addressing issues with applications, hardware, and network connectivity.Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating complex issues as needed.Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and related peripherals.Assist with software installations, updates, and license tracking.Support user administration and permissions for enterprise systems such as Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.Manage organizational units (OUs) in Active Directory under supervision.Troubleshoot and support the campus network to ensure user connectivity and access.Provide training and guidance to users on best practices for secure and effective technology use.Troubleshoot network and local printers, local IP desk phone issues.Maintain documentation of service requests, issue resolutions, and hardware/software.Collaborate with other IT teams to coordinate system updates, deployments, and new technology rollouts.Assist in implementing and maintaining IT security policies, anti-virus tools, and user access controls.Stay informed of current technology trends and recommend improvements where appropriate.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesWorking knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 4 5 and endpoint management tools.Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting practices.Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with users and technical teams.Ability to support hardware and software in a mixed Windows and macOS environment.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50lbs.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience providing IT support in a higher education or enterprise environment.Ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.This job posting reflects the general nature and level of work expected of the selected candidate(s).
