Job Title: Process Technician IV Industry: Manufacturing Location: Newton, NC Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed Client Overview You'd be working at a materials science manufacturing plant, supporting engineers by setting up machines, collecting and analyzing production samples, and helping improve manufacturing processes. Top 3 Skills Manufacturing process setup and troubleshooting Production sample collection and data analysis Process improvement and experimental trial planning What You'll Do Support engineers in improving manufacturing processes through machine setups Collect and analyze production samples Collect and analyze process data Plan the sequence of operations for experimental trials Conduct tests and measurements throughout production stages to monitor key process variables Independently solve the vast majority of problems by examining pertinent facts and evidence Seek direction on issues that cross functional areas or have broad impact Coordinate activities beyond routine daily tasks Recommend process improvements and meet or exceed deadlines Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance What We Need From You High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred but not required 7 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment Comfortable working closely with engineers and manufacturing operators Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently through ambiguity Familiarity with spreadsheet based data analysis tools Preferred / Bonus Associate's degree in a related technical field Experience with statistical process control or experimental design About Elevait Elevait Solutions was founded by veterans who believe that how you treat people is the only thing that actually matters in this industry.
