The ideal candidate will have 15–20 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent and the ability to independently manage projects, make executive decisions, and lead teams from start to finish.This role will focus on earthwork/site work, civil, concrete and erection of two Pre engineered Metal Buildings and requires a strong leader who can collaborate with construction teams, subcontractors, engineers, architects, military personnel, and government representatives. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.Candidates located in the Yazoo City/ Jackson MS area are preferred, but qualified candidates throughout the United States will be considered. Travel is not required; however, travel opportunities may be available depending on project needs.Candidates must be able to pass a government background check and meet federal site requirements to obtain clearance for work on government projects.Responsibilities. Additional NCIC background check via livescan must be completed.Oversee daily construction operations and manage project execution from start to completionCollaborate with engineers, subcontractors, architects, and project teams to determine project needsMake independent decisions and resolve jobsite issues efficientlyEstablish project goals, timelines, and performance expectationsMonitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadershipManage construction schedules and ensure deadlines are metEnsure projects remain within budget and assist with cost managementSupervise crews, subcontractors, and onsite personnel while providing leadership and directionImplement and maintain safety, quality control, and compliance standardsCoordinate inspections and assist with obtaining required permitsManage submittal processes and project documentationMaintain accurate records, reports, and project communicationsOrder equipment, coordinate maintenance, and manage material inventoryEnsure job sites remain safe, organized, and compliant with regulationsWork closely with military and government personnel when requiredTravel RequirementsTravel is negotiable and dependent on project needs. Candidates located more than 120 miles from the project site may qualify for travel support, including:Transportation to and from project locationsCompany-provided housing (hotel or apartment accommodations)Daily transportation to and from job sites$40/day per diemTravel assignments may vary and typically range from 2–4 weeks on-site before returning home. xaygatp Requirements15-20 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar leadership roleExperience managing commercial construction projects, preferably tenant improvementsExperience working on secure government facilities is highly preferredAbility to pass government background checks and federal drug testing requirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized U.S. Citizen (contract requirement)Must have a clean background with no felonies or disqualifying offensesNo history of substance abuse issues that would prevent clearance approvalStrong understanding of construction operations, processes, and jobsite managementKnowledge of construction safety, quality, and health standardsExperience managing project schedules and subcontractorsKnowledge of the submittal processFamiliarity with BluebeamProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Project)Strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to lead, motivate, and manage construction teamsAbility to organize traveling crews and coordinate project logisticsExperience managing project-related expenses, including rental cars, airfare, hotels, and direct costsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a hands-on construction leader who can take ownership of a project, make critical decisions independently, and ensure successful project completion.
