Warehouse Coordinator

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse operations in support of industrial construction projects. This role ensures accurate receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, tools, and equipment to support field execution. The position supports cost control, material availability, and compliance with company procedures.Essential FunctionsReceive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips.Maintain accurate inventory records and material tracking logs.Coordinate staging, kitting, and distribution of materials to field crews.Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.Manage tool check-in/check-out processes.Track equipment rentals and associated costs.Communicate material shortages or discrepancies.Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials.Support expediting critical materials.Maintain warehouse organization and layout.Assist with purchase requisitions and invoice verification.Maintain documentation for warehouse activities.Coordinate with field supervision on material needs.Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.Safety & Compliance ResponsibilitiesFollow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.Ensure safe storage and handling of materials.Maintain housekeeping standards.Participate in safety meetings and inspections.Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.Supervisory ResponsibilityMay coordinate or provide direction to warehouse assistants or yard personnel.Minimum Qualifications2–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience (construction preferred).Knowledge of inventory management practices.Industrial or construction experience preferred.Forklift certification or ability to obtain.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.CDL preferred with valid Medical CardKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to read purchase orders and material documentation.Strong communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems.Problem-solving ability and adaptability.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically.Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.Ability to work in outdoor and industrial environments.Work EnvironmentIndustrial warehouse, shop, or project yard setting.Exposure to noise, equipment, dust, and weather conditions.May require extended hours or overtime based on project needs.Additional DutiesThe statements above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.T E C Industrial has been building a team for more than 75years and offer our employees a full slate of benefits including:Medical FSA-HSADentalVisionSTD/LTDGroup Life/Voluntary Life/AD&D401k plan with Company matchAccident and Critical Illness plansPaid Time Off (PTO)T E C Industrial is a Drug-Free, E-Verify, Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status.Veterans encouraged to apply.
