DescriptionKey Responsibilities Sales & PerformanceAchieve and support store monthly sales targets (turnover, units per transaction (UPT), and average transaction value (ATV))Monitor daily sales performance and provide feedback to the team to improve resultsDrive conversion rates through active selling and customer engagementTeam Leadership & People ManagementSupervise and support team members to meet individual and team sales KPIsConduct on-the-floor coaching and provide regular performance feedbackAssist in managing staff attendance, punctuality, and productivity in line with company standardsSupport implementation of performance improvement plans (PIPs) where requiredCustomer ExperienceEnsure delivery of excellent customer service standards aligned to Footgear expectationsMonitor and reduce customer complaints, ensuring resolution within required turnaround timesDrive customer engagement behaviours (greeting, upselling, product knowledge) Stock Control & MerchandisingOversee stock accuracy through regular counts and adherence to stock control proceduresMinimize stock loss by maintaining shrinkage within acceptable company thresholdsEnsure visual merchandising standards are implemented and maintainedDrive stock replenishment to ensure product availability and sales optimisationStore Operations & ComplianceEnsure store is compliant with company policies and procedures requirementsMaintain store standards in line with housekeeping and health & safety guidelinesSupport preparation for internal audits and stock takes, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to dateEnsure all cash handling procedures are followed with zero tolerance for variancesVisual Merchandising & Brand StandardsEnsure all visual merchandising is implemented in line with Company guidelines and seasonal campaignsMonitor and improve product presentation to drive sell-through and customer engagementEnsure key product lines are positioned to maximise sales performance and visibilityConduct regular floor walks to identify and correct merchandising gapsImplement and maintain promotional displays within required timelinesEnsure pricing accuracy and ticketing compliance across all merchandiseDrive team accountability for always maintaining consistent visual standardsReporting & AdministrationAssist with completion of daily, weekly, and monthly store reports (sales, stock, staff performance)Monitor key store metrics and escalate performance risksEnsure accurate capturing of data on all relevant systemsRequirementsMatric (Grade 12) preferredMinimum 2–3 years’ retail experience (supervisory experience advantageous)Must be computer literate; email & basic Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfortable using retail systems (POS)Strong leadership and team management skillsStrong understanding of retail KPIs (sales, shrinkage, conversion, ATV, UPT)Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidaysGood Interpersonal skillsWhat We OfferOpportunity to grow within a leading retail brandExposure to store leadership and operational managementDynamic and supportive team environmentOngoing development and career progression Employment EquityFootgear is committed to Employment Equity and diversity.People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.Closing Date- 31 May 2026APPLY TOADY!!Work LevelMid-LevelJob TypePermanentSalaryMarket RelatedEE PositionYesLocationJHB North
