Construction Supervisor

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations across multiple construction projects to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards, project plans, and applicable building codes. This role serves as the company's on-site representative, coordinating subcontractors, identifying and resolving issues before they impact project timelines, and ensuring exceptional workmanship throughout every phase of construction. Key Responsibilities Conduct routine site visits to monitor the progress of active construction projects. Ensure all work is being completed according to approved plans, specifications, contracts, and applicable building codes. Verify that project milestones and schedules are being met and proactively address delays. Identify construction issues, deficiencies, or conflicts and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and clients to maintain clear communication throughout the project. Perform quality control inspections to ensure all workmanship meets company standards and client expectations. Monitor subcontractor performance and hold trade partners accountable for quality, productivity, and schedule compliance. Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA and company safety policies. Review daily progress and document project status with photographs, reports, and field notes. Assist with scheduling inspections and verify completion of required corrections. Review material deliveries for accuracy and ensure materials are properly stored and protected. Identify potential risks that could impact project cost, schedule, or quality and communicate them to management promptly. Assist in resolving warranty items and punch list completion before project closeout. Foster positive relationships with clients while representing the company in a professional manner. Reports to VP or President Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial construction supervision. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building systems, and local building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
