Local Class A Driver (Wentzville)

Job Description: We are currently seeking Local -Class A Drivers to be based out of Wentzville, MO. to deliver / pick up at one of ourMajor Automotive Manufacturer customers. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have 1 full year verifiable Class A CDL driving. Must have only 1 CDL license in the state which you reside. Current medical card self certified and verified on current MVR Be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements. Must understand be able to abide to abide by the restrictions placed on CDL No More than 3 accidents in the past 3 years. Driver must be able to understand traffic signs and signals in the English lanuguage. No more than 3 violations in the past 3 years. Must be able to [ass a TKSCS behind the wheel road test. What we are looking For: Time Management to adhere to strict delivery and pick updeadlines. Knowledge and safe operation of tractor and trailers . Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The ability to follow directions precisely while navigating through traffic, bad weather, or other obstacles along their route. Duties & Responsibilities Transport and deliver automotive equipment / parts in a safe and timely manner. Inspect vehicle before and after trips and document any issues with the truck Secure loads to prevent damage or loss during transit Plan route based on traffic conditions, road closures and delivery deadlines Keep in contact with supervisor to report arrival times, delays or changes in the schedule Complete paperwork such as bills of lading, manifests and shipping documents Perform basic maintenance on the truck such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure. Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Report any issues with load or equipment immediatley. Job Requirements:
