Job DescriptionTechnical (CO-OP) student engineer for Reentry Vehicle/Reentry Systems for MM III ICBMThis position is for a co-op. We are looking for Juniors and Seniors with 6months - 1-1/2 years left in their major programs.This position is part-time and gives the student worker a chance to work directly in their major field to support the defense of the United States.Many of the successful employees in this program are hired afterwards to be regular members of the team.Provide technical, clerical, and low- level engineering to BAE Systems Air Force Strategic Programs Directorate.Under direction of full-time engineering staff, the successful candidate will: Perform research and report results on control drawings, specifications, and technical manuals. Support systems engineering and integration efforts for specialty engineering disciplines, e.g., corrosion, environmental, safety, configuration management, surety, EMI, and others. Participate in sustainment engineering activities. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
