Registered Nurses in the Intensive Care Unit are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery by:Assesses, utilizing age-specific data, the patient's physical, and psychosocial, status in a comprehensive mannerDemonstrates accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patientPerforms ongoing assessments and completes required documentation within organizational standardsPerforms and documents including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural interventionParticipates in the identification and clarification of patient needs, as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning, to achieve optimal patient outcomesAssists other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriateIncorporates patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomesRequirement description :2+ years of ICU Experience - RequiredBLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) - RequiredIL RN License - Required Profile Requirements: Work historySkills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty2 Supervisory References with dates employed listedCandidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :ACLS (AHA)BLS (AHA)STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :IllinoisADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : Must be active at time of submission!
