Position: System Engineer (MSP) Location: Fairfield, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite options) Type: Full-Time | Permanent Reports to: Engineering Manager / CEO Compensation: Competitive base + performance incentives + growth-based bonuses What You’ll Do Support, manage, and optimize client IT environments across Windows, M365, Azure AD, and network infrastructure. Lead system migrations, cloud integrations, and project rollouts with precision. Troubleshoot escalated technical issues and mentor junior technicians when needed. Utilize and improve our MSP tool stack Maintain documentation, diagrams, and SOPs for all systems and deployments. Collaborate directly with leadership to implement automation and drive operational excellence. Participate in on-call rotation for escalations when required. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of experience in a Managed Service Provider environment. Deep understanding of: Microsoft 365 administration Active Directory / Azure AD Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) Networking (SonicWall, Meraki, or Unifi) Endpoint protection, RMM, and backup tools Strong communication and documentation skills. A proactive, self-motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Passionate about technology, growth, and delivering outstanding client experiences. Bonus Points For Experience with Intune, DR, Third Party Multi-Factor Authentication, VPN, or Spam filter. Cybersecurity background (HIPAA, NIST, or ISO 27001 frameworks).
