At Altais, we support one another, adapt quickly, and work with integrity as we build a better experience for physicians and their patients.The Director, Network Growth is responsible for expanding and strengthening the physician network through disciplined recruitment, contracting, and market growth. This role owns the front end of the provider lifecycle from prospecting through contract execution and ensures a clean, documented handoff to Network Implementation. This role does not own onboarding delivery, operational execution, or ongoing physician relationship management.Network Growth Strategy & Market ExpansionDevelop and execute strategies to expand and enhance the physician network in alignment with organizational and market needs.Lead physician recruitment, prospecting, and contracting efforts to achieve network adequacy and expansion goals.Identify and cultivate relationships with physicians, medical groups, and healthcare organizations during the pre-contract phase.Contracting & Readiness for ImplementationOwn physician relationships through contract execution only.Define and document what is being sold, including services, assumptions, and expectations.Ensure commitments, assumptions, and growth expectations are clearly documented for downstream Network Implementation and Engagement teams.Cross-Functional Alignment (Growth Phase Only)Partner with clinical, quality, and MSO teams to validate feasibility prior to sale.Support awareness of programs and services during the growth phase (not onboarding or execution).Ensure disciplined handoff of physicians to Network Implementation once contracts are signed.Physician Experience (Pre-Contract Scope Only)Act as the primary physician contact during recruitment and contracting.Ensure physicians understand participation expectations at a high level prior to implementation.Partner with Marketing on growth-phase communications and materials only.The Skills, Experience & Education You BringBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) preferred.Proven experience in physician recruitment, contracting, and network developmentStrong relationship building and negotiation skillsAbility to lead complex growth initiatives across multiple marketsClear communicator with strong handoff, documentation, and transition disciplineStrategic mindset with strong appreciation for downstream implementation and operational executionThe Base Salary for this position is $169,950 - $203,940/yrIn addition, we provide a competitive compensation package that recognizes your experience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefits program to meet your needs.Excellent medical, vision, and dental coverage401k savings plan with a company matchFlexible time off and 9 Paid HolidaysThis position will also be eligible to participate in our annual bonus programYou Share Our Mission & Values:CompassionWe act with empathy and a deep respect for the challenges faced by physicians and their patients. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
