We value hands-on work, clear expectations, and a reliable team.Role DescriptionThe Propagation Crew Leader is a full-time, on-site role based in Molalla, Oregon.This is a hands-on position responsible for leading daily propagation work while working alongside the crew. You will help maintain production pace, plant quality, and team accountability.This role works closely with the Production Manager and is key to keeping propagation on schedule and at a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the propagation crew in daily workTrain team members on proper propagation techniquesMaintain plant quality and consistent propagation success ratesMonitor plant health, pests, and crop conditionsHelp organize daily workflow and keep work on trackMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentCommunicate progress and issues to managementCompensation$26–$27 per hour, with opportunity to grow into a Propagation Supervisor role at $28/hour based on performanceQualificationsRequiredExperience in plant propagation or nursery productionExperience working with or helping lead a crewBasic understanding of plant health, pests, and diseasesAbility to work outdoors and perform physical labor year-roundReliable, organized, and able to keep work movingClear communication and team mindsetPreferredIrrigation or fertilizer application experienceFamiliarity with nursery production workflowsHorticulture or agriculture educationBilingual English/SpanishWork Environment100% on-site in Molalla, OregonOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsPhysical work including lifting, standing, and repetitive tasksNo relocation assistance provided
