If you're ready to learn and contribute to real-world supply chain solutions, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinates all activities related to procurement beginning with intent to purchase through deliveryResponsible for supplier metrics, approvals, and risk assessments for assigned group of suppliersAnalyzes the requirements, including preliminary specifications, preferred supplier, and date commodity is neededIssues RFQ’s and PO’s and/or IDWA’s in accordance with company and government regulationsImplements purchase contracts that comply with company and government regulationsAssures material is delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price, meets the quality standards of the company and aligns with inventory level expectationsAssist in the coordination of supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logisticsSupport the procurement team in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contractsAssist in analyzing inventory levels and demand forecasts to optimize inventory managementHelp maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and supplier informationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and productsAssist in identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chainSupport the implementation of supply chain initiatives and projectsAssist in tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing reports for management reviewParticipate in meetings and training sessions to gain exposure to various aspects of supply chain managementRequired SkillsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain ManagementStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyThis position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export AuthorizationDesired SkillsKnowledge of supply chain concepts and principles is preferredPrevious internship or work experience in supply chain management or manufacturing is a plus
