Safety Manager (Field-Based | Travel Required)📍 Teaneck, NJ (HQ) | ✈️ Up to 50% Travel | 💼 Full-TimeAbout the OpportunityI’m currently partnering with a fast-growing, technology-driven organization that is looking to bring on a Safety Manager to lead and elevate safety practices across field operations and customer environments.This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in dynamic settings and is passionate about building strong safety cultures while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.What You’ll Be DoingAs the Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing safety strategy across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include:Developing and implementing safety programs, policies, and proceduresEnsuring compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standardsConducting risk assessments across internal and customer sitesLeading safety training programs (forklift, emergency response, hazard awareness)Performing audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risksInvestigating incidents and near-misses, including root cause analysisTracking and analyzing safety KPIs to drive continuous improvementPartnering cross-functionally to embed safety into daily operationsActing as a key safety liaison for both internal teams and external stakeholdersSupporting emergency preparedness and response initiativesWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of experience in safety management (field, warehouse, or operational environments preferred)Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulationsExperience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigationsProven ability to develop and deliver safety trainingStrong analytical mindset with experience tracking safety metrics/KPIsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently in field-based environmentsForklift certification requiredOSHA 30 certification (preferred)What You Should KnowThis role requires up to 50% travel across operational and customer sitesIt is a hands-on position, not purely administrativeYou’ll need to balance compliance, training, and real-time safety executionIdeal for someone who enjoys being in the field and making a direct impactCompensation & Benefits💰 Salary: $90,000 – $105,000🏥 Medical, Dental, Vision (multiple plan options + HSA contribution)📈 401(k) with employer match and immediate vesting🌴 20 days PTO + 13 holidays✈️ Travel expenses covered per company policy
