This role supports both on‑premises and cloud‑based environments and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.Key Responsibilities Of The Senior System AdministratorDesign, deploy, and manage Microsoft Windows Server environmentsAdminister and optimize virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, or equivalent)Support and maintain Citrix application environmentsManage cloud-hosted infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)Develop and apply Microsoft Group Policies; handle server administration tasksMonitor and tune server performance to meet organizational needsAutomate processes using PowerShell and other scripting/utilitiesLead patch management to ensure system security and complianceImplement and maintain enterprise backup solutionsAdminister cybersecurity tools and monitor system logs for security eventsPerform vulnerability management and remediationAdminister, patch, and maintain SAN systems and server hardwareRequired Skills & Experience Of The Senior System Administrator5+ years of experience in systems administration. Expertise with Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, Citrix, Azure, and AWS. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills. Experience with patch management and enterprise backup platforms. Background in cybersecurity administration and log monitoring. Experience administering SAN systems and performing server hardware patching.
