Failure Analysis Engineer

Role:  FA EngineerLocation: San Jose, CA 95131Type: Full Time OpportunityJob Description:What you will be doing:Work on flagship server systems in NPI and production.Drive yield improvement and fix the failure pareto.Handle Failure Analysis of field and production failures.Make DFM/DFT recommendations.Collaborate with different teams (including Engineering, Quality, Reliability).Regularly report product status and recommend improvements.Build expertise on production of server products.What we need to see:2+ years of experience in the server and electronic industry with exposure to development of system (hardware/software) and data analysis.A minimum of B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Computer engineering or Computer Science.Knowledge of mechanical tolerancing.Must Require Skills:Worked on board bring up and debugging or Failure analysis on board Make DFM/DFT recommendationsVisual PCBA Board inspection, Identify assembly issues at component labelGood at Linux commands for operationGood to have worked in Contract Manufacturing Failure related to PCB manufacturing (e.g., over-etching, drilling errors and improper soldering)Experience in Electronics Hardware Instruments CRO, DMM for Testing
