That’s what makes us Roche.The RoleThe Finance Center of Excellence (FiCoE) Financial Compliance Community is responsible for the compliance of the internal control system with primary focus on financial reporting as defined by Corporate Finance. The community also ensures compliance for additional internal controls defined by local management and provides services to RDC, its subsidiaries, and affiliates.The Financial Business Analyst supports the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework by translating financial processes and control requirements into data-driven insights and scalable solutions. Partnering across finance, control owners, and audit stakeholders, this role evaluates control performance and drives improvements to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency, and reliability of the control environment.The OpportunityEnsure appropriate documentation reflects current processes, systems, and data flows at all times. Perform scheduled and ad hoc reviews to assess compliance and identify opportunities for process and control optimizationDevelop and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of controls, including automated and system-based controls. Monitor and support remediation plans for identified deficienciesPartner with business, Division, and Corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment of control activities, data integrity, and system outputsSupport the alignment of internal control frameworks across affiliates, including standardization of controls and integration with system capabilitiesAnalyze audit results and data trends to identify systemic issues and recommend sustainable, scalable solutionsSupport segregation of duties (SoD) governance, including system access reviews and approval processesEvaluate financial systems, data flows, and interfaces, including involvement in System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities for financial applicationsPerform special projects and other duties as assignedThis position is based on-site at our Indianapolis campus and uses a hybrid (3 days per week) working model.Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field5 years of related experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience applying data analytics to assess and remediate financial and operational risksStrong knowledge of finance and accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS) and auditing conceptsExperience working with financial systems, data environments, and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, data warehouses, visualization tools)Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar) and familiarity with automation or analytics platformsUnderstanding of system controls, interfaces, and data dependencies within financial processesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skillsExcellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities and work across cross-functional teamsAudit and internal controls experience preferredSAP knowledge highly preferredMBA, CPA, CISA, or similar certification preferredFamiliarity with emerging technologies (e.g., data automation, AI-assisted analysis) in a financial or audit context preferredThe expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis is $81,200-$150,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
